It’s Monday, so that means it’s What’s Your Favorite Day over at Revenge of Eve. Today’s question? What is your favourite animal?
For me, it’s the polar bear. For as long as I can remember that has been my favourite animal.
The polar bear is the emperor of the North. With the camouflage of white, they symbolize surrender…..understanding the need of adaptation and the will to survive in the harshest of lands. They can blend in to their surroundings—like a cloak of invisibility. The polar does what comes natural to preserve himself and has come to realize that to survive in his world he had to surrender to the elements, and flow with them instead of fighting them.
The polar bear mother will brave any danger to take care of her cubs. Her family of cubs is just as important to her as human love is for their children. Polar bear mothers are always watching their cubs, protecting them and providing for them. The native Inuit consider the polar bear to be a major protector of the innocent.
The polar bear is the ultimate symbol of perseverance and protectiveness.
Thanks Eve, for another fun Monday topic!
